Wine description
Donna Ava is Poggio ai Laghi’s flagship wine, where innovation and tradition meet. The intense, rich, mature black cherry, which are absolute markers of the 2019 edition of the most representative Poggio a Laghi Supertuscan, are brought up by the special selection of Syrah grape. Elegant structure and soft tannins are the result of careful French barriques aging. The non-invasive oak notes are well integrated and brightens up the delicate spicy work of Cabernets in perfect balance with the meaty, juicy fruit of Syrah and Merlot.
